Commencing a New Absence matter

This article will guide you on how to commence a new absence matter in an employee's profile.

Alternatively, you can add a new absence matter by first going into your Employees tab, and selecting "Manage" next to your desired employee:

 

Once in the employee profile, click into the Absence tab across the top of the page and then select "Commence New Absence matter" at the bottom of this tab:

 

In the resulting window you can see any existing details on Lateness or Early Leaving since your last meeting. Scrolling down, here you can log details of the absence matter review meeting:

 

Once happy with the entered data, just click "Confirm Absence Review". You will then be prompted to select your meeting outcomes, including how long this absence notice will remain on the employee's file for:

 

After you've clicked Save, the new Absence matter will be available to view and edit on the employee's main Absence tab.
